Today, I want to share something deeply personal with you—a piece of my heart, poured into a sprinkle mix called Beyond Words.

This creation is dedicated to my two incredible children, both of whom are on the autism spectrum. My daughter has never spoken the word “Mama” to me. She’s never said “I love you.” I don’t know her favorite color because she can’t tell me. Yet, when I look into her beautiful eyes, I see a universe of emotions, intelligence, and a unique perspective that teaches me more than words ever could. My son remained silent until he was four. Even now, words can be a struggle for him. But his laughter, his gestures, and his unwavering joy speak volumes. As a mother, guiding these two extraordinary souls through a world that often doesn’t understand them is both a challenge and an unparalleled gift. They’ve taught me that communication isn’t solely about words—it’s about connection, understanding, and love that transcends language.

In honor of them, and to support others who walk similar paths, I’m donating $1 from every sale of Beyond Words to the National Council on Severe Autism (NCSA). The NCSA is dedicated to advocating for individuals with severe forms of autism, focusing on those who require lifelong care and often cannot speak. It’s important to recognize that approximately 25% to 30% of children with autism are minimally verbal or do not speak at all. Beyond Words isn’t just a sprinkle mix. It’s a celebration of all the unspoken ways we express love, joy, and connection. It’s a tribute to those who communicate in ways beyond words, reminding us to listen with our hearts.
